Insights on Employment: Part Two Audio

K.V. Notes

First part of the audio is with a gentleman called Joe. He works for www.careerconnect.org
One thing about this fellow, he has a good voice.  Most of the people I have been listening to at this series of lectures do not control their voice properly.  It is a very nice and encouraging thing to hear.

Second part is with a lady called Serida Kimball. David says to write notes because you only remember 7% of what you hear 24 hours later. Serida has been with the federal government for  35 years. she worked as a disability program manager dealing with placement and advancement and job jeopardy situations. She specializes with the blind and the visually impaired.

Dos and don't for job strategies:

Job readiness. Make finding a job a job. You start in the morning and you work all day to do it.

When you go to an employment interview you have to bring something to the table.
