Getting near retirement age, K.V. begins a search for the ideal home. The journey will be hard.   She is no longer young and is fighting extreme poverty.  But the first step to solving a problem is dialogue.  And so K.V. starts to film the city in her quest to find physical and financial security.  This films focuses on the Quartier des Spectacles.  It is a vibrant, bustling part of the city.  And there is a very large low income housing project right near it.

Portfolio review questions

  Do you think it’s good to use a poster form to show my work on my portfolio?  Should I also show my work on  blogs on my portfolio?     What do you think about using a Powerpoint presentation? Do you think it’s good to cross-reference on  posters?   Like to advertise several different places I have that show different collections of my work. On the same poster.    Portfolio project. I need to choose to select the items that I would first make available for purchase. I mean what kind of selection would I use. I don’t think I should put in all my most expensive ones. What about any of my most expensive ones. Maybe I should just put in the ones that would be pertinent for the amount of money I need to start. The problem is I don’t know which one is which.  And I’m afraid of everybody

Quality Framing and Trouble

I had to stop my association with my framer which was a major drag.  I said two things actually. One is that I feel that continuing to put money into professional framing is not only time consuming and hindering my ongoing fight with poverty. Two, I feel that there has been a backlash against the actual quality work of the framer.  There has always been some bad feeling for the gallery concerning the fact that it is on the floor I live on which is not necessarily of the same religious persuasion of the congregation that owns and runs it. It might be that the excellent work that has been done is a bone of contention to some significant players in the place.
