Friday's blog on Industry Experts or News is dedicated to a Art Fabian company upgrade of studio space and interior design. Prints and Advertising space available for negotiating.
all sales will support the company in its quest to do this. Advertising space also available.
Good day to you dear reader,
I hope that you are not working too hard. And that you are spending some time tending to yourself.
It would be good to know that you are enjoying lifes challenges.
I have decided to incorporate images with the Friday blog. I could, again, put the rather dour images that many of these sites have. They use mostly business pictures and the like. But why not show off my creative skills so that the image you see is attractive?
For now, I have decided to add images from my Valuables Collection. These are articles that I have acquired in the hope that they would be worth a good amount of money. So far I have managed to sell none of them. But they do symbolize Big Money Issues. And this is theme of all these blog posts. They focus on a search to find a way for the Art Fabian Company and myself to go from a condition of poverty to one of wealth. The idea behind it is that I have the qualifications and the skills to do this. You decide.
So first of all let me present to you;

Office of Vocational Rehabilitation’s Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services,
as he interviews individuals who are successfully employed and have a visual

challenges they had to overcome, and provide tips for success.

My take on the tape:
I am hearing a lot about two things.
Informational Interviews
An interview in which you look for potential employers and
you go to ask them questions to inform yourself as to what he or she wants in a
worker and what the issues would be.
David says these interviews are not only good to ask
questions but to also state what you would be good at as well. Or a particular
point of view of yours that is not evident.
That’s an aspect that I like and I did not think of.
Alternative Job Market
This is the job market that is not advertised but you get by
word of mouth or by talking to people as you go around with your average
day. (Like doing your groceries).
There is a difference that I think should be stated by the speakers and myself.
They are talking about how they can perform the work
functions in a regular work environment while they are visually impaired. What the speaker said is that he had, first
of all a good computer and second of all a whole lot of expensive
software. As a general rule of thumb it
seems that the speakers do not have to deal with a condition of poverty such as
mine.
Also they are all going through
the Invisible Job market which means they are quite able to speak to lots of
people. In my case I have a difficulty
saying anything to anybody. I think this could be rectified with a Life skills counsellor. (Ah if I could make the bucks).
What I am doing to combat this is to work with my cool
little Apple touch. One of the nifty
things it has is an audio recorder that lets you speak your messages instead of
just typing it. In this way I am
practicing speaking.
So that is todays blog to post. I hope that you found it to your liking. If so why don't you share it with your friends.
I will write again soon.
