BMI25. Put Your Money in the bank.1

Okay so the traditional words of wisdom are (often said and quoted by Stacey Johnson of Money Talk News: "If you experience a windfall, before you do anything with the money put it in the bank and think about it at least for a month."

Yeah but what if you don't have recourse to go to the bank?

Case in point.

When I reached eighteen years old, I was given sixteen million dollars by Prince Philip because he gave all his subjects an opportunity to work with a lot of money.  First thing I said was because the money wasn't stable so we should trade it into something that was international  "gold".  At that time one ounce of gold was thirty six dollars about.

We went to Fort Knox (I think that's where and we traded the sixteen  million dollars for its worth in gold.  Very soon the gold prices skyrocketed and the value went up about forty two times.(to two thousand dollars an ounce about that).

What did I receive from that transaction?  Nothing.
Can it be when I got to the bank to put that money in  the bank manager refused to take the money into safe keeping.

Yeah but nothing?  I get nothing?

Where else do you go to keep your money safe (even for a little while)?
Did anyone ever tell you another option than the bank?

Also, okay I didn't fly there myself and it was Prince Philip who is Royal. But no monetary compensation  at all?  I mean to remain penniless?   The question comes to mind how did I acquire that kind of knowledge at all?

Why couldn't I have been focusing on some sort of knowledge that I coud use?  I mean, whats the use.  Really.

You know why I am saying that?  Now  I know that getting the money is half the journey.  The other half is securing it (Thank you Ed Skoll )

Securing it.  Yeah but for who? Look fella, I am fifty six years old.  Not only all of my youth, but most of my middle age is over.  If I dare to tell myself now that most of my life is over I can devote myself self to making money for other people. Because they know how to use it? because now I am too old and I don't?

 Go to Hell.
