BMI3.A Hot Day and a Trophy by K. Fabian

Boy its been hot.  Real hot.  Its a funny thing.  I was told that if you want to get used to the heat you have to expose yourself to the heat.  For example, when I went to the middle east for a vacation I was told to do a lot of steam baths. So as I was getting accustoming to feeling uncomfortable I decided to try that.  And you know what? I feel much better in the heat.

However it is really hot.  So after I went to the pool I took a stroll back home.  On the way someone had left a tangled beaded screen on a bench.  Probably they were feeling upset because of the heat and just tossed it.  So because the heat and the walk and the fact that the bench was in an appealing shady part of the street I decided to sit down and try to untangle the beads.  If the thing looked good it could hang up in the hallway.  If not I could get rid of it.

It was a perfect day for repetitive behavior like bead untangling and as I sat there a young lady came up and asked me if I would help.  So all of a sudden there were two of us untangling.  (it was pretty big so there was plenty of space to keep comfortable).  We must have been untangling for about a half an  hour and the deed the was done.  Give or take a couple of broken beads, I had in front of me a fine example of a beaded seperater (probably from Africa. Lucy said Morocco).

Triumphant I headed back home with the cumbersome object held high over my head.  (it was heavy and so it was a relief to get home).  I found even a great place for it in the hallway. Some more detangling was necessary but now I have a really funky cool addition to my collection in the hallway.  I call it the Inside Gallery and this baby is for sale. for the amazing price of $500.00.  That is the highest price that the establishment I live in will let me go.
